A vocal training app for serious singers that turns pro-level warmups, workouts, routines, and practice support into one mobile-first coaching system.
About the project
VoiceFIT gives singers a structured way to train with the kinds of warmups, workouts, recovery programs, and routines usually associated with a professional voice coach.
The app is built around the real demands of singing on stage, in studio, on tour, during songwriting, and through regular daily practice, with guidance created by industry voice coach Tamara Beatty.
Structured vocal training that brings guided exercises, routines, recovery support, and targeted skill-building into one clear practice flow.
Personalized practice tools help singers find training, save favorites, set reminders, track sessions, and build consistency through achievements and weekly status.
Custom client access for touring and VIP clients, including private exercises, routines, tips, courses, PDFs, notes, and in-app chat.
Admin tools for managing exercises, routines, tips, PDFs, rotating assets, custom client content, and training materials.
Results
VoiceFIT helps singers turn scattered practice into consistent vocal progress, with guided warmups, workouts, recovery programs, and routines for whatever their voice needs next.
For singers, the improved experience brings exercises, routines, recovery support, favorites, reminders, session tracking, and progress signals into one place, so practice feels easier to start and easier to maintain between lessons, rehearsals, or performances.
Custom client access also gives coached users a more personal training experience, with private content, notes, PDFs, courses, and in-app chat available alongside the general training library.

Technical
- Flutter and Dart iOS app with GoRouter navigation, Provider-backed app state, and persistent local state.
- Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, Cloud Functions, and Firebase Messaging.
- Content model for training assets, routines, playlists, PDFs, notes, user history, achievements, custom client materials, and rotating assets.
- RevenueCat subscriptions, reminder preferences, audio and video playback, PDF viewing, file uploads, and admin content tools.
What I worked on
I worked across the app to refine a partially built product into a more complete, professional-grade experience, resolving technical blockers while keeping the founder's product vision intact.
The work covered training-library flows, routines, exercises, favorites, search, user history, vocal profile data, practice reminders, achievements, subscription access, account management, and custom client experiences.
I also worked through the underlying implementation details: Firestore schema, Firebase services, storage-backed media, audio and video playback, PDF handling, admin content screens, user permissions, notification preferences, and app release readiness.
