A Club Operations SaaS platform for volunteer-led organizations that need one reliable place to run the club, engage members, and keep daily operations moving across web and mobile.
About the project
MemberDay replaces the spreadsheet, email list, shared drive, forms tool, and payment workaround with one system club admins can maintain.
The platform is designed for service clubs, veteran groups, community organizations, hobby clubs, and other member-led teams that need serious operational tools built around how their organizations actually run.
Member Management, Groups, MemberChat, and Mobile App for member access, club communication, and mobile engagement.
Meetings & Events, Event Registration, Meeting Check-In, and Surveys & Forms for running events, tracking attendance, and collecting responses.
Dues, Billing & Invoices, Email & Communication, File Manager, and Task Manager for the operational work officers handle every week.
AI Assistant, Public Website Builder, Facility Rental, and Equipment Checkout for extending the platform beyond core member administration.
Results
MemberDay is used by 600+ organizations and 50k+ members across web, iOS, and Android.
The platform has scaled from a product build into live infrastructure for clubs that rely on it to keep officers, members, events, payments, communication, and engagement moving.
For officers and boards, that means cleaner handoffs, more reliable records, and better visibility into day-to-day operations. For members, it means easier access to club updates, events, resources, and mobile-first ways to stay involved.

Technical
- Flutter and Dart application shipped across web, iOS, and Android.
- Firebase Auth, Firestore, Storage, security rules, hosting, Cloud Functions, and custom backend triggers.
- AI assistant architecture with LLM routing, knowledge-base search, document Q&A, governance, telemetry, and operational tools.
- Stripe billing flows, Mailgun-powered email, public registration and survey embeds, file handling, PDF generation, and QR check-in workflows.
What I worked on
I worked across the product from planning to release: turning club operations needs into scoped requirements, shaping implementation priorities, breaking features into buildable work, making product tradeoffs, and delivering the web and mobile experience end to end.
The work covered the serious operating surface behind MemberDay: member management, groups, MemberChat, meetings and events, event registration, meeting check-in, surveys and forms, dues, billing and invoices, email and communication, file manager, task manager, AI assistant, public website builder, facility rental, equipment checkout, and the mobile app.
I also owned hands-on build work across routing, state, data models, Firebase services, security rules, backend functions, integrations, monitoring, staging and production release paths, app versioning, and app store delivery.

I’ve been working with Steven for more than two years, and he’s been outstanding the entire time. I’ve thrown some very complex projects at him and he’s handled them all - quickly, thoroughly, and with great communication. He’s built the majority of my app and has become a core member of my team.
